This custom handmade sculpture is of Python regius, commonly referred to as the balled python or royal python. One of the most infamous species of snake in the reptile community and a serpent with a gentle heart.
It was crafted in polymer clay, a material that hardens when baked in the oven, and then painted in bronze and gold. The bronze is dry brushed with emerald green to give it a rusting look. The base is live edge wood, cut in a flat round.
