This custom handmade sculpture is of Rhincodon typus, commonly known as the gentle and breathtaking whale shark.
Crafted from polymer clay, a material that hardens after being baked in the oven and painted in bronze and gold, this piece was made to look like an older statue. The bronze is dry brushed with emerald green and the gold is slightly faded to give off that aged look. The base is a wooded plate wrapped in faux leather.
